I KNOW JUST THE PLACE
If you think sunshine, sandy beaches and coral reefs are all that Queensland has to offer, you’re only scratching the surface. As the new advertising campaign for Tourism and Events Queensland reveals, there are so many other great experiences there for you to discover.
Every June and July, the elusive Dwarf Minke Whales find their way to the Great Barrier Reef in Tropical North Queensland. This is the only place in the world where humans can come face-to-face with this highly interactive marine life species.
Dive instructor Shona Whittaker explores the underwater magic of the Great Barrier Reef and shares her story about swimming with Minke Whales.
